When making an appointment for hair dyeing, perming or hair straightening, Faye usually asks the client to send photos of their current hair condition. This is not to directly decide the method of treatment online, but to allow both parties to understand the length, volume, existing color and damage condition before going to the store, so as to arrange a more suitable service time.
What can be seen first from the photos of the incident?
Photos can provide a preliminary understanding of the current length, natural curls range, pudding length, color distribution, and whether there is obvious dryness at the ends of the hair. If you have had your hair bleached, dyed at home, or permed multiple times, a frontal photo is usually not enough.
Photos cannot replace on-site touch, elasticity testing and complete consultation, so the final evaluation in the store shall prevail.
It is recommended to shoot like this
- Shoot under natural light by a window, avoid filters, beautifying skin and strong yellow light.
- Take close-up photos of the front, left and right sides, back and hair ends.
- Let your hair dry naturally without styling it with an electric wand or ion clip first.
- If there is a boundary between new hair and dyed hair, re-pat the roots and middle section of the hair.
What else should be explained besides the photo?
Please also describe the bleaching, dyeing, perming, hair shrinkage correction and home dyeing records in the past two years. Even after the color has faded, chemical treatments may still affect subsequent designs. You can also attach photos of hairstyles you like and dislike to make the communication more specific.
